Off-Beat Rainforest tours
Sunshinecoast
Sightseeing
Just one hour from the coast, the 34,000 hectares of the Conondale National Park sit within the beautiful Conondale Ranges, an important refuge for many rare and endangered birds and animals.
On an award-winning Off Beat Rainforest Tour you’ll journey deep into the rainforest, by 4X4 vehicle and on foot, to magical places not open to the general public. Eco-accredited guides will share their knowledge of the unique biodiversity of the rainforest and its cultural history and may even find you some bush tucker to eat!
You’ll see stunning waterfalls and deep gorges, giant strangler vines and stag-horn ferns and maybe, if you’re very lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of the elusive platypus. Enjoy homemade damper for morning tea and a really yummy gourmet lunch under the trees, with a glass of your favourite tipple. Bring your budding eco-warrior along, as tours are suitable for children over three years old.
